High-tech build-out of incubator space to support MIT’s young entrepeneurs. With top names providing funding and sitting on the board, this high-profile space needed to be completed meticulously and quickly. Wise built-out the space in record time featuring lab space, maker space, and specialized equipment connections such as 3D printing and prototype creation capabilities. Conversion of core/shell space with tenant-specific build out for lab and office space suited for immediate research needs, future growth, and flexibility. Installation of structural supports and dunnage to a replaced roof system allowed for two new RTU and exhaust systems to feed lab and office space needs. Upgraded electrical to 400 amp along with a tempered water system were also included.

Add all new base building infrastructure and systems to an existing Type III building to provide a fast-paced turnover in 16 weeks
