Alyson Winters Kavanagh: Senior Project Manager

Area of expertise: Renovation projects, tenant fit-outs, MEP and life safety upgrades, transportation upgrades, entertainment/food service.
What are you enjoying most about being a Wise employee so far? “The culture here is very horizontal and inclusive. There is collaboration across all management levels and different project teams and they genuinely support a work life balance – there are always dogs walking around the office and there were three wedding/baby showers in my first two weeks here!”
Chris Richards: Assistant Project Manager

What are you enjoying most about being a Wise employee so far? “I really enjoy the fast-paced nature of the projects that I’m working on. At the end of the day, it’s motivating to know the spaces we build are used to develop vaccines, rare disease treatments, and ultimately will improve the quality of life for many. As a new hire, I’ve loved getting to know everyone at Wise and am inspired by my colleagues who always make themselves available to answer a question, provide insight on a topic, and lead by example. What are you enjoying most about being a Wise employee so far? “Joining Wise is the best thing that has ever happened to me professionally; I feel complete joy coming to work every day. Everyone is respectful, kind, friendly, and patient teachers. Being an immigrant and dealing with the language barrier sometimes can be challenging, but Wise has a great staff who are always willing to teach. I’ve already gained so much knowledge in the commercial construction industry. I am glad to be part of all the exciting things happening at the company. For me, it’s a blessing to be here.”

The biggest thing I noticed right off the bat is the younger generation of construction professionals here at the Wise office which made the transition so much easier. From what I’ve heard, there are a lot of company events that everyone seems to have a great time at, so I look forward to participating in those in the future.”
