This 12,000 SF renovation was carried out in an active research building, with neighboring tenants on adjacent floors. The updated space now features new offices, laboratories, and support areas, including a tissue culture rooms, equipment rooms, and microscope rooms. MEP systems and controls were modified and upgraded to align with new automation standards, ensuring seamless integration with the latest infrastructure. High-end finishes throughout have given Boston Children’s Hospital a modern, refreshed research environment.
Occupied building, MEP system redundancies, and floor leveling requirements for a specialized wall system.
Extensive coordination and planning to strategically work around and relocate MEP services. As for the floor, properly preparing the surface was critical for the wall alignment.
Completed research department with offices and laboratories with seamless transitions across the new floor layout.
