Across three levels and multiple departments of the Maxwell Dworkin Building, our team transformed 60,000 SF into a modernized academic environment to better support learning, collaboration, and innovation. Updated classrooms, offices, conference rooms, and shared spaces provide enhanced functionality and flexibility for students, faculty, and staff. Completed within a 35-week schedule, the project was carefully phased to maintain building operations and minimize disruption. Strategic upgrades to the fire alarm, audiovisual, and mechanical systems improved building performance, reliability, and user experience, creating a future-ready facility designed to meet the evolving needs of the Harvard community.

Renovating a heavily occupied academic building requiring complex system upgrades, an accelerated schedule, while coordinating among numerous campus stakeholders.

A phased construction approach, off-hours work, and proactive collaboration with all partners.

A carefully composed and renovated academic space that enhances the experience of Harvard’s faculty, staff, and students.
