South Boston Community Health Center needed to update its facility to create more efficient workflow from room to room for its employees. These two very critical objectives needed to be accomplished in a short period of time.
The project would be completed over five phases resulting in new nurse stations, exam rooms, reception area and pharmacy. We also needed to find an effective way to reuse the existing fire alarm system, but revise the layout of the fixtures to meet new wall layouts.
Our team needed to work closely with the SBCHC staff and design team to comply with all rules, regulations and building standards. Without our ability to build strong team relationships, a renovation of this magnitude would not have been feasible.
